★About event★

Gongenyama Park is a famous spot for cherry blossoms and azaleas that has been as one of the “100 Scenes of Ibaraki”. From there, you can overlook Lake Kasumigaura, the second largest lake in Japan.

“40th Suigo Itako Cherry Blossom Festival” will be held there from March 23rd (Saturday) to April 7th  (Sunday) , 2024. 

During this period, the cherry blossoms will be illuminated from sunset to 9 pm every day.
